What does it eat (forage)?
Plant leaves, bark from shrubs and trees. Eats its food quickly, then chews its cud like a cow.
Where does it live (habitat)?
Brushy woods, suburbia
What does it do (behavior)?
When deer are threatened, they will stamp, then snort, then flash their tales as signs of increasing alarm. If startled suddenly they will just run away (all sorts of animals like to eat deer).
Deer are ofien in groups, with dominant and subordinate animals.

Chewed twigs, trails, bedding areas.
Scat:
Piles of little pellets
